TRENDING RUMORS
– Chelsea are looking to land Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic if they can include defender Renato Veiga in the deal, says The Times. Vlahovic, 24, has been linked with a move for months, with Arsenal also reported to be interested. The Serbia international has a contract until 2026 but hasn’t settled in Turin and could move on for around €60m, with Portugal defender Veiga, 21, possibly set to be used as a makeweight by Chelsea to reduce the overall fee.
– Barcelona have added Bayern Munich attacking midfielder Jamal Musiala to their summer shortlist, reports Sport. It is reported that manager Hansi Flick believes the 21-year-old Germany international would be a strong addition to his side, as the Blaugrana draw up plans to make a marquee signing in the summer. Musiala’s deal at the Allianz Arena is set to expire in 2026, but recent reports have indicated that the Bundesliga club are in talks over a contract extension.
– Napoli are closing on a €55m move to sign Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho, says Corriere dello Sport. Garnacho, 20, has fallen out of favor with United boss Ruben Amorim and the club need to raise funds if they want to bring in any new players this month. Napoli have €60m in the bank having let winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia move to PSG last week and see the Argentina international as a direct replacement.
– Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford could be set to stay at Old Trafford, says Sky Sports Deutschland’s Florian Plettenberg. Despite “direct contact” ongoing between Borussia Dortmund and the Red Devils regarding a loan deal, it is said that the total valuation of the package — between €8m and €10m — is an issue that has reportedly also seen talks with AC Milan stall. The Bundesliga side’s hierarchy also have concerns about Rashford playing in the same position as winger Jamie Gittens.
– Defender Ronald Araújo is expected to sign a new contract with Barcelona, reports Fabrizio Romano. The 25-year-old has been linked with an exit recently, but the latest indicates that the Blaugrana are set to keep hold of him. Meanwhile, Como and Girona are said to be in talks over a move for Araujo’s teammate and fellow center-back Eric García. Como, managed by Cesc Fabregas, are reported to have made a €7m offer to secure the 24-year-old’s signature.
