TOP STORY: Race for Canada star David heats up
Internazionale will aim to see off competition from Napoli, AC Milan, Juventus and others to sign Lille striker Jonathan David in the summer, according to Calciomercato.
The Serie A club has had success signing free agents in recent years and they will look to repeat that with the 24-year-old, whose Lille contract is currently set to expire in the summer of 2025.
Any interest will only be added to by the fact that there had not been any negotiations for the Canada international to extend his deal with Les Dogues until now.
Inter are planning to get ahead of the competition by reaching an agreement with David by the first weeks of the new year — with Juventus being the club whose presence I Nerazzurri is most aware of as they aim to complete the signing.
David has started the campaign with three goals and two assists in eight matches across all competitions for Lille.
