The Rutgers Scarlet Knights continue to roll this season, with their latest triumph a 26-23 win over the Virginia Tech Hokies on the road in Blacksburg. The Scarlet Knights raced to an early 14-0 first-quarter lead, before sealing the win via a 36-yard field goal by Jai Patel with just under two minutes left.
After the game, Rutgers’ social media team paid homage to a line from Metallica’s “Enter Sandman,” which is played in Virginia Tech’s Lane Stadium before games.
