ATLANTA — New Orleans Saints tight end Taysom Hill didn’t take long to show how much the Saints missed him last week.
Hill, who missed last week’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles with a chest injury, wasn’t showing any lingering signs of that against the Atlanta Falcons. With 13:46 remaining in the second quarter, Hill ran in for the second of his two first-half touchdowns, scoring on a 5-yard run to put the Saints up 14-7.

Hill also took a direct snap for a two-yard touchdown in the first quarter. That score tied up the game 7-7 after the Falcons scored an early touchdown off a muffed punt by Rashid Shaheed.

Hill set up his second touchdown with a 7-yard gain on 4th-and-1 earlier in the drive, lining up as a fullback in front of running back Alvin Kamara and receiving the handoff to run through an open lane.
He also had a key block on a 13-yard gain by Kamara in the first quarter.
