Lee University Secures Fifth Consecutive GSC All-Sports Trophy

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Lee University has clinched its fifth straight Gulf South Conference (GSC) All-Sports Trophy, underscoring the Flames' sustained excellence across multiple athletic programs.
The Flames amassed 117.125 points in the 2024–25 season, narrowly surpassing the University of West Florida, which finished with 114.875 points. Lee's impressive performance was bolstered by GSC tournament championships in women's cross country, men's cross country, women's indoor track & field, and women's outdoor track & field.
Since the GSC began awarding the All-Sports Trophy in the 2013–14 season, Lee has now secured the honor five times consecutively, following West Florida's initial six-year dominance.
In the individual men's and women's all-sports standings, Lee placed third in both categories, with the Lady Flames earning 43.375 points and the Flames accumulating 36.375 points.
Athletic Director John Maupin expressed pride in the department's achievement, stating, "We're honored to have won the GSC All-Sports Trophy for the fifth consecutive year. It would not happen without the support we receive from Dr. Conn and the administration at Lee University. We are grateful to be part of an institution that values success in Athletics and supports the dreams of our student-athletes and coaches. I am proud of our whole department and the work that goes into each year—this is always a great recognition of those efforts."
