Andy Morris joined WCLE in 2019, bringing his lifelong passion for sports and deep community roots to the local airwaves. He currently hosts 'The Drive,' and serves as the color commentator for Walker Valley High School football. Andy also covers a wide range of sporting events across the region. His knowledge and unmistakable voice have made him a familiar presence in area sports broadcasting.
A proud graduate of Bradley Central High School, Andy was a multi-sport athlete and a standout on the wrestling mat. He earned All-State honors and captained the Bears to a state championship before continuing his education at UT-Chattanooga, Cleveland State, and Lee University.
Andy now works as the In-School Suspension teacher at Walker Valley High School and has been a dedicated assistant wrestling coach there since the 2007–2008 season. He also lends his voice as the public address announcer for Walker Valley baseball, supporting Mustang athletics year-round.
Andy and his wife, Lauren, have three children—Maddox, Kimbrel, and Murphy. When he’s not on the mic or mat side, you’ll find Andy cheering on the Atlanta Braves, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, and the Chattanooga Mocs.
