Coca-Cola 600 Returns Sunday with Historic Broadcast and Double Duty Challenge

The 66th running of the Coca-Cola 600, NASCAR’s longest and most grueling race, is set to take place this Sunday, May 25, at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The green flag drops at 6:00 p.m. ET, with live radio coverage available on ESPN Cleveland 101.3, presented by Dale’s Heating and Air.

This year marks a significant shift in NASCAR broadcasting, as the Coca-Cola 600 will be the first Cup Series race to stream exclusively on Amazon Prime Video. This move is part of a new media rights agreement that includes five mid-season races annually through 2031.

The race, spanning 400 laps and 600 miles, is divided into four 100-lap stages. Known for its challenging transition from daylight to nighttime conditions, the Coca-Cola 600 tests drivers' endurance and adaptability. Charlotte Motor Speedway+2NBC

A highlight of this year's event is Kyle Larson's ambitious attempt at the "Double Duty"—competing in both the Indianapolis 500 and the Coca-Cola 600 on the same day. After weather thwarted his efforts in 2024, Larson aims to complete all 1,100 miles of racing this Sunday.

In addition to the on-track action, fans can enjoy pre-race festivities, including a concert by country music band Old Dominion and military appreciation activities.
