Coach Damon Floyd Show: Young Bears Dominate 31-7 & Embrace Underdog Role vs. Maryville

The Bradley Central Bears are back on track after a complete 31-7 team win. Coach Damon Floyd breaks down the standout performances from a young defense led by Porter Grueber's monster 20-tackle night (third-most in school history), big plays from Javon James and Terrell Goldston, and the continued excellence of a group full of returning underclassmen. Then it’s straight into the fire. The Maryville Rebels come to town with one of the region’s most talented and experienced rosters.

Coach Floyd doesn’t sugarcoat it. The Bears are clear underdogs but that’s exactly why this matchup is exciting. No pressure, nothing to lose, and a chance to see how far this young group has come.

Key talking points:

• Why the defense looked sharper than it has all year

• Spreading the ball and the wealth on offense

• The “kick every possession” mantra and eliminating short fields

• What it will take to hang with Maryville

Tune in, get hyped for Friday night, and go Bears!
