High School Basketball
Cleveland City Schools announced today that Reggie Tucker will not return as head boys basketball coach at Cleveland High School next season. The school system thanked Coach Tucker for his years of service and confirmed that the search for a new head coach will begin soon.
MLB
It took 10 innings, but the Nationals edged the Braves 8-7 in a thriller. The Braves will look to bounce back tonight as they host the San Diego Padres. First pitch is at 7:15 p.m., with pregame and postgame coverage on Mix 104.1, presented by Cleveland Plywood.
NBA Playoffs
In the Western Conference Finals, the Oklahoma City Thunder took a 2-0 series lead with a 118-103 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

College Football
Big changes are coming to the College Football Playoff. Starting this year, the top four seeds—and a first-round bye—will go to the selection committee’s highest-ranked four teams. The five highest-ranked conference champions will be guaranteed a spot in the 12-team playoff field.
SEC Baseball
Tennessee outlasted Texas 7-6 in 12 innings to advance to the SEC Tournament semifinals. The Vols will face Vanderbilt Saturday at 1 p.m. Catch all the action on ESPN Cleveland 101.3.
TSSAA Softball State Tournament
Walker Valley punched its ticket to the Class 4A state championship game with a 10-8 win over Page. The Lady Mustangs face Green Hill for the title today at 1:30 p.m. Eastern.

In girls singles, Walker Valley’s Maddie Evans fell to Science Hill’s Ensley Baker.
In boys singles, Bradley’s Britton Carter lost to Kelton Cantrell of Kirkwood.
In boys doubles, Bradley’s Parker White and Hunter Fields were defeated by Maryville’s Tate Stokes and Spencer Christian.
Track & Field
Cleveland High junior Sawyer Boyd turned in a strong showing at the state meet, finishing fourth in the 110-meter hurdles and fifth in the 300 hurdles.
NASCAR & IndyCar
