On the gridiron, Lake Forest rolled past Northview 36–6. Cleveland Middle School girls soccer edged Ocoee 1–0, while in football Cleveland Middle School claimed a 20–6 JV win over McMinn, and the varsity followed with a 32–8 victory.

Looking ahead to the weekend, Saturday features a marquee SEC showdown as No. 6 Georgia visits No. 15 Tennessee.
