On the court, Cleveland volleyball swept Rhea County 3–0, and Walker Valley topped McMinn County by the same score. In girls soccer, Walker Valley shut out Cleveland 4–0. On the gridiron, Lake Forest rolled past Northview 36–6. Cleveland Middle School girls soccer edged Ocoee 1–0, while in football Cleveland Middle School claimed a 20–6 JV win over McMinn, and the varsity followed with a 32–8 victory.


Looking ahead to the weekend, Saturday features a marquee SEC showdown as No. 6 Georgia visits No. 15 Tennessee. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m., with Tennessee pregame beginning at 1 p.m. on Mix 104.1 and the Mix App, presented by TVFCU.
