Wednesday marked the ESPN Cleveland 101.3 High School Football Media Day, hosted at Life Care Centers of America. Coaches and players from around the region shared their excitement for the upcoming season, and you can watch the full coverage now at MixTV.tv.

In middle school volleyball, Lake Forest’s 6th grade team swept Cleveland 2-0, while Lake Forest’s JV squad pulled out a 2-1 win. But in varsity action, Cleveland rallied to edge Lake Forest in a nail-biter, taking sets 24-26 and 25-23.

On the middle school hardwood, CMS 8th grade volleyball topped Lake Forest two sets to one in a competitive matchup at “The Forest.” Reports indicate Lake Forest may have taken the JV side of the action.

And on the gridiron tonight, Cleveland Middle School hosts Dalton for its first home football game of the year. JV kicks off at 5:00, with varsity to follow at 6:30.
