In 3A, Meigs County holds steady at #5.

In 5A, East Hamilton comes in at #8 while Walker Valley checks in at #9.

In Division II-AAA, Baylor and McCallie continue to dominate the top two spots.

College football news for the Vols: Tennessee will be without both of its starting cornerbacks this Saturday when Georgia comes to Neyland Stadium. Ricky Gibson and Jermond McCoy will miss the matchup.

On the middle school scene, Cleveland Middle volleyball swept Hunter Middle last night in both JV and varsity action.
